Powerbrake D-Line brake kits upgrade the rotors and brake pads while retaining the OEM calipers. It’s a simple yet effective brake upgrade for 4x4 vehicles, giving improved brake response (bite) and modulation without changing wheel clearance – keep your factory wheels or use anything that clears factory brakes. Figuring out pad and rotor materials can be difficult. Powerbrake did the heavy lifting, giving you a well-matched system out of the box. The D-Line can be swapped in during your next brake service for better performance and equal-or-better longevity over stock components.

As with all Powerbrake products, off-road is part of the design language. Same goes for their performance rotors. They use a well-proven “AT” slot pattern which provides a good balance between functional aspects, such as ejection of debris and water for off-roading, and practical driveability, such as low noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) for comfortable daily driving. Powerbrake 1-piece rotors use a proprietary high-carbon alloy that provides excellent durability and stability under high thermal loads. They come with a black surface coating that’s able to withstand the high temps and is flexible enough to expand and contract without flaking. On the edges of the rotor is Powerbrake’s maximum temperature recording (MTR) system, giving the user a visual reference of the max temp that the rotor has been exposed to.

The pads use a high-performance PB05 compound for its mix of longevity, stopping power, and fade resistance. They are the same profile as the factory pads, making them a direct replacement item. Combined with the rotors, both stopping distance and brake fade are reduced.
